Activision and their requirement that people who purchased their defective game send it back and wait a month in order to receive a replacement.

hows that for BS?  Nope you can’t play the game which rumors say Activision KNEW was funked up before shipping, and wait a month to play it again.

I bought Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock for PC on the 12th of October, 2008 at Best Buy in New Market and it stopped working after 2 weeks. Could you please inform me of how to get a replacement. Thank you.

*sigh* OK, first thing. if something breaks like this don’t wait a freaking month before reporting it.

also, saying that it ’stop working’ is too vague. Did you break the guitar? did the computer blow up? are you getting errors? is the game just freezing? not loading? etc. (NEVER call tech support and just tell them ‘it’s not working’ without explaining WHY it’s not working.)

    Past that..
Just like anything you want to return to a store.
Contact the store for their return policy. If anything you’ll need the box or, at least, the receipt.
